I have a 400 watt DIY Cool Tube I plan on using in this. The pictures show that it's flushed against the wall outside of the closet but I plan on storing it inside the closet. So, which direction should I vent the cool tube and the air intake for circulation? Should I not flush it against the wall in the closet at all? It has to go in the closet though!I painted the inside flat white but have to put another coat on it cause the wood is bleeding through.

I want this to be all set up by mid November.

I'm doing 12/12 from seed and I kinda want to copy something like this

A coat of primer first would make painting a lot easier. If the fan is strong enough it doesn't matter which way you vent but I like to blow the heat away from the lamp holder and cordset.

First, I would like to say thanx for being the first and only one to reply to my thread. I used a small can of Rustoleum flat white and that sh!t is strong. That is pretty much my primer, and I will be getting a generic can of flat white from Walmart in the next day or two to finish off

So, should I put a fan on each side?

For the cabinet size that your going with I would go with a passive intake.
I posted this pic I found to show you what a passive inatke looks like.

Thanks dude, I think I want to try that. This eliminates my idea of a dual cabinet though, right?

.. it would probably be better if you got something to mach it that you could stick on top and keep seperate

dual chambers would be optimal ... what its your interior height ?
The interior height it 43 inches. I have 3 shelves that came with it I planned on using. I just want to have some sort of idea of something before I start drilling holes.

True, I thought that too! But I was trying to keep everything lock'd in one place. I planned on getting 3 of these locks because they are ideal for the sliding doors.

have you tested the box for light leaks ?
i have an idea .... what if you divided the box.. top to bottom ,like 12" or so width for veg .. and then divide the veg side in 2 half way up

i went back n saw u want to put in closet ... you should put exhaust in the top of the box then ... and intake from either the back or side ... which ever has the most room

here i drew it out for ya:leaf:
I appreciate the consistent help you are giving me! However, I don't want a vegetative chamber because I will be doing the 12/12 from seed to harvest and would really like to utilize the shelves I have. I am probably being a pain in the ass but I don't want the plants to be over like 2 and a half feet or so.

and oh yeah, I went and purchased a can of ColorPlace EXTERIOR Latex Flat House paint from Walmart. Color code "8000 White". Hope its white enough. lol It looks great though. I planned on buying regular flat white wall paint but I stumbled upon this and decided to get it becasue it says:
- Gives Mildew Resistant Coating
- Clak, Fade, Blister Resistant
- Soap and Water Clean-Up

Was this a good choice? I'll post pictures later when its all done!

sounds good, i thought you are doing 1 400 or 600 watt light ? ... if your not gonna do a veg chamber i donno why you would want 2 levels/lights
with what i planned out for ya the plants would be about 12" max height veg ..
and then you could use the verticle space on the other side for budding.
do you really only want to get stuff every 3 months ? and keep starting from seed ?
