I've got two vivosun oscillating 6" fans in 4x4 tent is windburn actually a thing? The clones seem fine but my autoflower seedlings are growing so damn slow could it be windburn? I never believed in windburn befor but I cant think of any reasons why there growth could be so slow

Oh yes, it's quite real.

You only need one fan to move air around(in a 4x4 tent). Avoid it directly aimed at the plants.
I run my fans just above the canopy... another at ground level to move air under the plants...

Ok thanks brand new to growing in small space (tent)
So I should keep them oscillating but one down by the pots level and one just above canopy or should I turn oscillation off and have them at the wall? Or take one of the fans out what do you suggest would be best way

Well, how many plants are in there? I used to run 4 plants per a 4x4 space. Flip them at about 28 inch's or a bit more.
Ran only one fan above the canopy.

If you cram more plants in and run them tall for a tent...use a lower fan too.

You should be continuously drawing air in from the lower vents and exhausting it out the top anyway. Lights in the room the tents were in, always off unless I was in there.

Well I have two tents this ones strictly veg with spectrum kings mother little helper and an empty flower tent with hlg 550 rspec v2 waiting for my clones to get big enough to go in there. The autos were just for filling space until I'm dialed in. I've got it setup so air comes in the flower tent through a bottom port with ducting to prevent light leaks. Into my 6" t6 infinity and charcoal filter out the top and into the top of the veg tent. Then out an open port with ducting at bottom of veg tent (I'm doing this because there will be a co2 bag in flower tent and trying to reuse it into the veg tent. And to help control the heat and humidity of both the tents easier)

Ideally there will be a mother in 1 gal pot. And 6 plants in 5gallons vegging. And a clone tray

I'm on the fence whether I want to have 6 plants flowering at once or 4 plants. And if I should have half of them in early flower and half in late flower or all come down at once

Co2 bags? Not exactly very effective. They do not produce enough, long or consistent enough to be of much use. let alone that when running any co2 supplementation.......you need to run higher temps and RH to make if work properly..

Secondly. I would always say to run air in each tent alone/by it's self.
