Are my plants trying to change to flowering stage?

I just put in this new light. Another 600w but this vivosun light has a full spectrum feature. Allowing. You to turn on two switches for veg and bloom. I this light only for flowering? Should I turn off the full spectrum?? I’m still in 18- 6 light cycle. I plan on changing to 12-12 in two weeks. Maybe it’s the extra light adding more PAR. My plants went from struggling to get around my LST. To completely dominating it in 5 hrs of me training

No they wont try to flower til 12 12. And yes use both veg and bloom switches even in veg. Usually after the first 3 weeks u can use both switches without issue

You can run both VEG and BLOOM switches as soon as you see normal growth. When my clones show normal progress, they go under with both switches on.

I'll start with the lights about 30" above then gradually lower them a smidgen more than 1" daily until the lights are 18" - 20" above. By the time the lights are 18" - 20" above, the plants have acclimatized.
