hi people i have a few questions on plant count and yields

one of my grows i did one big plant that vegged for 6 weeks to fill my grow space

my next grow i did 2 plants that vegged for 4 weeks to fill my grow space

the buds on the one plant grow had much bigger buds and yielded 2 ish more OZ VS when i did two plants grow but they finished earlier

do you think its better to yield less but more often or yield more but less often

Mmm... Did you use seeds or clones? Seed can have a lot of variance. I just trimmed some plants and one plant had 60 grams, the other had 90!

Trimming and training all yield differences as well. For me, it's a math equation. How many hours per week are you spending tending to plants? Look at the total yield per year, divide by hours and there you go. Also, maybe you want different strains? Growing one big plant takes up a lot of time so you're stuck with just that one variety. One big plant is pretty cool though and I like using scrog (screen of Green) to fill a canopy.

If plant count isn't important, you could always look to the other side of the spectrum (Sea of Green) which is traditionally 36 plants per square meter. Yes, you read that correctly... They're taken from clone and only veged for 1-2 weeks in 1 gallon pots :)

At the end, keep experimenting and see what you like. About time you figure it out you will likely have doubled or tripled your grow size anyway!

My opinion is that yo should delegate 2x2x4 atleast per plant sog is more for autos if your spending the time and training right you should get lots more yield with larger plants if trained properly

well i spend equal amount of time tending to plant regardless of one or two plants i guess that means yielding more often if the best option
