If your going 5 days without watering then your pots are too big or you need to add perilite or something similar. You will get faster growth watering more frequently.
Fabric pots are great imo. And water coming out the sides is normal.
Water till you see a bit of run off to prevent salt build up.

I'm doing a living soil now (no-till), so I don't let it dry out. I try to keep it moist to keep all my micro life happy. I give them water every couple days and they're in 15 gal plastic pots, but my RH is really low. I am still a rookie too, but am learning a lot as I go.

I really want to learn how to make living soil..
Do you have a thread I can read? Or how did you learn to grow with living soil?

I used my old FFOF and added a bunch of other stuff. Lava rock, pumice, rice hulls, bio-char, vermicompost, Craft Blend from Build a Soil, and red wigglers. I just did a lot of reading about no-till, and read Teaming with Microbes.

is this a nitrogen toxicity??? Or does she need water again?!?
no nutes added just FFOF soil day 3 of flowerimage.jpg
