White Widow Bubbleponics Grow

I decided to start a thread to track my progress on my first grow. Ive got a 150 watt MH on top, with 130 watts of 6500 k and a 42 watt of 2700 k. I'm planning on adding a few more 42 watters as my grow progresses.

These pics are from yesterday, which is day 4 from sprouting. I'm just sticking to the Bubbleponics nutes for this grow (unless i get bad results then i will switch over) and will most likely switch to Advanced Nutrients next time unless i get great results on this grow.

Any suggestions/ comments are greatly appreciated

Oh ok good. I like the system honestly. Like yea it cost more then it would have been to make but I dont have places around me to buy hydro supplies.

nice my first grow was with bubbleponics and the weed was amazing. my friend grew same weed in a pot for an experiment and my buds were by far more thick with way more tricombs. I think that since the nutrients are more readily available to the plant they do some crazy stuff. make sure to use molasses when flowering

Anyone want to help me predict my yield off these 3 plants? I'm planning on a few more 42 watters to add to the side light

it kinda depends on a few factors but i produced about 4 mason jars full of weed per plant, but I waited a little too long before i started to flower and the plants got too tall for my closet so i had to cut off the tops of the plants to keep them from burning
so just as a heads up your plants will grow like 3 times their size when you start to flower

I've heard that with hydro it usually doesnt double in size when you flower? but then again ive heard it really just depends on genetics

But hey, i'd be completely satisfied with 4 mason jars per plant

My plants seem to be doing great for only day 7, but one, however, has all its leaves curling inwards and is drastically smaller then the other 2. (pic 2) Could something be wrong? or am i worrying over nothing

Same thing happened to mine. They will be fine. I sprayed some water on them to moisten the leaves cause they felt dry.

yeah, this is the plant that is directly under the MH so it probably is just a little dry. Thanks

No prob. Just be careful cause the water could burn it if there is not some type of fan blowing on your plants to dry them quickly

I'd say it definitely depends on genetics. I have a mexican sativa thing growing now. It was only about 2 feet when I started flowering. It is now about 6 feet, and that is with about 10 or 12 toppings. So much for my bonzai that I was going for. If you want to check out my journal w/ pics, go to this link.

definetely genetics, ive got 2 dif strains same age from seed!growing identically.....in the same tub, room, vegged at exactly a foot, one with topping. one is now 16 inches tall, the other is 37 inches tall in the 6th week of flowering.
ive got another thats trippling it hieght in the 4 week of flower
grow a couple bag seeds out and order get the strains that are best for ur requirements.

check them out an old close of of the 2 dif strains in the same bucket at exactly the same age from seedlings

Damn thats quite a difference, bet you guys cant wait till harvest time comes around
I have been comparing my grow to the See More Buds book and my day 7's look like his day 11's, so i am definitely happy with that.


I am going to top 2 of the WW plants out of the 3. I should wait till around week 4 right?

I personally stick with the 6 nodes or 6 true leave sets at a foot tall theory. Ive included a pic in here so u can see i topped the plant at about 7 inches tall, dropped my lights and allowed them to grow from the top of my hydroton to the tip of my tallest leaf one foot tall! u can see that in flower how much taller the other main branches grew from the 7 inch main stem. thats what happens to some strains as well when u start vegging at a foot.If i did it over i would have vegged the tall ones right after topping.Thats why i say to veg at a foot till u know ur strain growth habits u can always modify if it ends up a lil smaller in flower just veg longer.....see what im saying?

If you have a true female clone ur tops! why waste it?
