Best for veg?

Right now I’m running a 260w custom cob fixture in 3500k in my veg tent. Looking to move that out to the flower room and re light the tent. Been looking at a variety of QB, cob, and strip options and was looking for some info. What would be considered the “best” for veg? Also what spectrums/temperatures should I consider? These will only be for veg forever they’ll never need to

For ease of diy i would go with strips or cobs. 4 and 5 k.
Nothing against qb's just cheaper/easier to replace a single strip or cob

Ya i would choose strips for sure. Im biased tho lol

a 185w/240w proper led fixture can veg a 4x4 reasonably well. It Wouldn't require many strips because running them soft would be silly in veg imo.

I would run them hard-ish and keep them higher up for more coverage.

Not efficient but better then floros & easy swap.
Strips have been my favorite for the first month replacing 480w T-5 w/ 100-120w of 58k strips.
Second half of veg enhanced 5k cobs or bars at a higher intensity.
A lil MH/UV in the mix will strengthen the plants. Doesn't take much.

Thank you for advice. I am basic9at the top my budget. Will just using t8 led bulbs be ok. I also have t8 led grow light red blue.

I have like 4 of the bulbs per two plants. With reflectors. I will get pic of lightin an with out lighting. Will using the ti led work till i get better. Or are you saying that they are not efficient with light bill or for grow

I used HO , t-5:for yrs. They work great. I even mixrd spectrum frombthe aquarium bulbs. Was fun. But now you can do better with 1/4 the wattage is all.
Led - t-5 replacements work good for veg. Especially if you take the cover off.
