Historically, yes, Jews have been big in banking. And in Israel, the diamond business is pretty big, or has been in the past. Jews have also been a large presence in the jewelry business in general, and that can also be traced back to history. When you never know if you're going get twenty minutes' notice that your home is being confiscated, you learn how to carry your wealth via portable means. So Jews just learned to cope and survive in the world they found themselves in.

A sentence is used when you are done with a statement I was continuing my point the whole way through, MLK had a page long sentence that he wrote from jail, so you can have a sentence that is as long as a paragraph. And I have no idea with what the world is going on around me, ha you watch that freedom to fascism bs, that is where the propaganda came from. I understand the world around me very well, I just don't allow weed to make me so paranoid that I really believe the Government is run by some elite people and let myself be scared into believing I have to accept what I have been dealt when I was born, I believe that yes rich people do run the Government but only to a extent, and most rich people are actually good people just a little smarter then the blue collar guy and anyone can become rich as long as there not a

It would behoove you to insert either a period or a semicolon at the end of this, your bona fide first "statement"; that statement would be that a statement constitutes a [complete] sentence.
This will take entirely too much time for me to correct your grammar.
So maybe you can just lighten up and allow people to post and be themselves? Or would you prefer that we have a spelling bee and essay contest, right here, on this thread?

Somehow I've missed most of this. I hardly ever watch tv, so that might be why. I did catch some of the speeches yesterday, while I was eating lunch.
What gaff in PA? And did he really call someone the c-word? Or is it possible that he said something else, but it sounded like the c-word? Because if he said that, dang, I don't see how folks could still support him. Well, unless they harbor such ugly thoughts and enjoy seeing someone with power behave that way? Weird.

Any comments on Ms. Palin's wardorbe controversy. Personally, I think it's stupid and petty. I think this was leaked from someone within the McCain campaign. They do seem to be fighting with each other terribly.
I watched her rebuttal of the whole thing yesterday while at that restaurant. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against her, but to me she sounded so disingenuous, showing off her cheap earrings and the $30-wedding band. So what does that prove? What else is at home in the jewelry box? Why is this relevant? Maybe I did not see the whole rebuttal, but I did not hear her discuss any of her clothing, just her cheap-o accessories. If she was going to bring it up herself, why not come clean about how much the oh-so-sexy boots cost? The blouse, etc?
Anyone else recall when Princess Diana was roasted for spending something like $50K on lingere in one year? One thing if you're a princess and the people love to spoil you. It just seems so stupid that this is even an issue--Ms. Palin's wardrobe, that is.
