China does what China does for its reasons, I didn't even go into their reasoning. They were able to do so recently because Trump has gone so far to undo Obama's pivot to Asia. He has been incompetent as an adversary to them while kissing Kim's ass. China's current posture has everything to do with Trump's incompetence and his disregard for the CIA.

Jinping was delighted when Trump was elected. It's like if he was two moves from being in checkmate and suddenly a new player took up the seat opposite his and flipped the chess board over. Trump's response was to harm relations with important strategic allies.

If you want to get into why the CCP has taken up such a muscular position, you would do well to read up on what I have written on this forum. I happen to speak fluent nihongo and I live in the Philippines. I have also spent most of the last 4 years visiting every country in Eastern Asia.

That gives me more insight than your ancestry.

I prefer logic to authority but I certainly have the upper hand in regards to authority. Trump has single handedly ruined all US influence in Asia.

A self sufficient Japanese military would free the US from having to defend world trade from the CCP. You're a fool if you think that China would let Japanese people speak Nihongo in Japan if they could conquer the Islands.

Yup, because that's what soldiers do, attain power for their masters. My point is they are not to protect us. They are sold that lie but I have nothing but pity for them. Any soldier who is not on their own soil is a problem.
