@FastFreddi . I wrote this in response to your profile post message, but wouldn't fit so I copied and pasted it here.

Hey brother the 3 VL is a fine choice in lights, I just started running one full time a couple days ago. @RainDan is on here but he is a busy dude. He probably just missed ya, however I would recommend emailing him, he is quick to reply.

I don't know how much a call from Canada to the US would cost, but you would probably get Dan or Carlos on the line and they can help you with all your questions.

FYI, when I order a fixture from them from the time its ordered it takes roughly 2 weeks to get to me in Southern Michigan. Basically order, get in line, fixture gets built and shipped. Most of the wait time is on UPS, than again I don't know about international orders.

I am making the jump from hps( 2x 600 w cool hoods) in flower to led, and I'm hoping these timbers are it. I haven't heard any bad , and that's a big deal on this forum!
How do you find them?

If you buy a Timber or an HLG light you will get quality. Other brands? hit or miss

Thank you for the reply, and yes agreed. I have been bouncing back and forth between the two, but I gave the nod to Timber...I'm curious on these.

I own both, HLG and Timber lights. Both are solid can't miss LED's. Build quality on the Timber might have a slight edge, performance? the latest HLG's have the edge in Far Red, for sure. (HLG 550 V2 rspec, specifically)
