Fluence or TImber?

Hey all, I am just curious as to your opinions on lighting. I am thinking of spending a fair amount of money on fluence, but I have recently come across a few positive reviews on timber. If you have some experience with either let me know your outcome with them. I'm not gonna be supplementing CO2 and it's between the spydr2x and the redwood VS. All opinions would be appreciated.

With how easy DIY is now, you're literally robbing yourself to buy pre made. Just buy strips, heatsinkUSA.com heatsinks, kapton double sided thermal tape or thermal grease, some aluminum angle for framing, 18awg solid core wire, some small & short bolts and nuts to hold everything where it needs to be, the drivers, a few dozen wagos, and you're done.
The strips even have push in connectors now so solder isn't even needed.
Just 2 or so hours of time, all at once, or incrementally, is all you gotta dedicate time wise.

I agree with the others, best bang for buck is obv DIY, but it seems you know this already.

So to answer your question, im going Timber all day if i have to choose between the 2. @RainDan is the timber rep and hes a legit good dude, i have yet to read anything negative about their lights, from any timber customers, ever.

Timber. I bought a 4vs and far red light from them but didn't use them for about a year. P!ugged the 4vs in and 2 cobs didn't work. Emailed them and Dan replied in minutes to check the fuse. A spare was stored on the light!!! Yep, worked. He even mailed me some spares but I haven't needed any going on 2 years. ThAt is how a company should do business and I'll buy from them again if I add lights.

I'm close friends with guys who run a commercial facility that uses fluence lights, indicocolorado. If you follow fluence on Instagram, you've seen a lot of pictures from the indico facility. The new gen of fluence lights are pretty incredible, if you've got the money they're worth every penny. This is coming from an avid DIY guy.

Nope, just giving someone a cheaper alternative to a fairly expensive FLUENCE fixture, that will definitely still grow some weed. Thanks for always trying to shit on ever thing I post, though. You never fail.

If i had to choose between the 2 id pick Fluence .
If you wanted to go a step further, Amare has their new lightweight version of the Bar-8 called the Bar-8 UV-L. Has UVA + B along with the Canna-Spec spectrum.
Its available soon & will be around 1250 i think & 660 dimmable watts with remote drivers. UL-8800 Certified. Top end everything.
