Does anyone know roughly when do the pistols start to brown up

Strain dependent, usually after the 4th week of flower. Unless she's seeded.
I mostly grow indicas or indica dom hybrids, and usually the 5th week of flower they start changing colour.
I'm assuming you mean change colour from white? Because my pistils usually turn from white to orange/red, then to brown in the last couple weeks of flower right before they start to recede.

I'm at week 4 of flowering and some starting to turn brown growing orange punch 70% indica is it the norm for them to start to change

Sounds great dude, best of luck!! Mine don’t brown until week 6 usually but that’s for a 10-11 week harvest.

Yeah, that's pretty normal. You think they're changing colour really slowly, then they seem to all change overnight in a big rush, ime.
