Sure.

If Oswald had an AR-15 instead of a $12.45 Mannlicher Carcano 6.5mm Italian army surplus bolt action rifle, he would have killed everyone in the car and could have moved on to the other cars. Then he could have killed a whole bunch of cops instead of just one

You're welcome.
If if if if.. You cant live life by what ifs. If jesus had an ar15 he could have shot Pilot.

Bullshit.

It doesn't have to be as accurate with 15 shot clips.

Your grandma could shoot an AR-15 into an open convertible from a 6th floor window. Would your ass sit in an open car with somebody shooting at you because you don't think it's accurate enough? You'd be a bloody dead mess.

Once the driver is shot, all hell breaks loose.
It was over 200 yards. No one is putting .223 or .308 down range with a leupold or zeiss piece of glass on an AR. Sorry not happening. Majority of those are fitted for close range with 1x to 4x optics.

If if if again..

AR15's don't have clips. They have magazines. You talk on subjects you know nothing about.

A bolt action high caliber rifle is used for accuracy. Do you ever hear of a .223 or 556 used as a sniper rifle? No. Never..

Ummm that is pretty much everything I said. Can I see your big gold chain again? Tell us again how successful you are again, some may forget.
You must have missed the part on selector switch, which zero percent of AR15's have..

Proved wrong so change the subject, typical.. Can't argue facts so start throwing personal insults. I didn't see that coming.... Good memory though.

Its a half kilo in 14kt cuban link hand made in miami florida in case you forgot. Pics will cost, I can send you my cash app if you want. And yeah, I'm doing well, thanks.

One neighbor had a new shotgun and two others nearby were clearly breaking in new assault rifles. Just the way Jesus would have wanted it.
Well, it actually IS in the bible that God expects men to protect their family. I can find a couple of references if you like.
My wife has been wanting a little bit smaller carry handgun. The .38 revolver is a bit bulky in a couple of the purses she has, and she is a bit of a small person and hiding it on her body was difficult too (fanny pack mostly).
She got to handle and shoot a friends Walther PPKS a few weeks ago and fell in love with it, so I bought her one for Christmas.

Very reliable weapon.

In 2018 there were 37 kids killed in school shootings. It doesn't specify what kind of weapon. And I am sure they weren't all from what you would call "assault rifles" So I'm sure there is a lesser value than 37 kids killed with an assault rifle but we can use that number.

The government reports an average of 49 people die from lighting strikes each year. I couldn't find the number of actual lightning strikes each year but wikipedia says that 10-30% of the strikes are fatal. So if 49 people died, at 10-30% of the people being struck.. You can do the math. A kid is more likely to be struck by lightening than die in a school shooting.

Kids being killed at school is terrible and unfortunate. I am sure we can all agree this number should be zero. I am not making light of the issue, but blaming "assault rifles" is fucking stupid being there are 5 to 10 million of AR15 style rifles in the USA not counting AK47 type, and many others like the mini 30 and min15's and so forth.

So all the numbers are very small fractions of a percent.
Thank you, I think though 'on average' school shootings still wins since school year is like 180 days, not 365 like with lightning strikes.

37/180 = .205, 49/365 = .13

You forgot to figure in that the 49 were deaths by lighting strike, with that being only 10 to 30% of people actually struck by lightning. TRy again.

We were comparing kids being killed at school by shooting vs being struck by lighting, not dying from a lighting strike.

"Facts and statistics show that a kid has a better chance of getting struck by lightning, but who cares about facts over feelings? Right? "

37/180 = .205,

so its actaully between

490/365 = 1.342
OR
1470/365 = 4.038

Nice choice, I'm a fan of Walthers. I love my 38s but yeah they aren't for conceal carry or anything but the range really.

That’s great that your doing well, is that like the 15th time you’ve told us all. I’m happy for you, 14k gold chains are a great investment and were very cool in the 80’s. And nope didn’t miss the selector switch. That wasn’t a deciding factor in it being an assault weapon. Your not very good at this are you.

Yes it’s unfortunate that there is no chance of ever banning lightning ..........as I put my hand to my head and slowly shake it back and forth in awe.

erm, that is the difference.... the automatic vs semi-auto selector switch. Everything else is just plastic and wood furniture with the same mechanical function.

Exactly my thoughts, and yes were were discussing politics and firearms, it was you that brought up my gold chain and success. You aren't very good at this, are you?

It really doesn't matter though does it, statistics comparing two things that have nothing to do with each other outside of some bullshit talking point made to make you feel smart. Unless you believe god is intentionally hammering those people with lightning.

I have a bigger problem with Russia being able to send our vulnerable children bullets through the mail.

Libs would ban lightening if they could... They like control. Banning guns gives them power. If you really cared about life ban unhealthy eating... 1 in 6 will die of diabetes. But no, focus on the 1 in 111742 that will die in gun violence. Makes sense, right?

I just wanted to hear one more time how successful you are, it means so much here, thank you! Nope probably not very good at bragging on a pot forum about how successful I am. Perhaps I’ll get better thanks to you. Back to the subject at hand. So a selector switch dictates what is an assault weapon, please explain.

Yes it does due to not being able to control peoples diet choices but you can ban assault weapons when their only purpose is to kill another person.
