I was thinking lately if it would be possible/practical to hermie a plant and let it pollinate another plant with the exact same genetics, thereby creating regular seeds?

Actually im half sure its possible, but would the seeds be any good and how close would they be to the original?
anyone got any thoughts?

You can make regular seeds with feminized female plant by pollinating it with a male plant.

If you want regular seeds just buy regular seeds. They're cheaper than feminized. But many strains only come feminized.

You can't make regular seeds since you're missing the male chromosome. All you can make is feminized seeds without using a true male to pollinate. In order to have regular seeds that produce both male and female plants you need to have the male chromosome. That's how I understand it.
