Super soils

Hey guys! About this time last year I gave up liquid nutes and started amending my soils. Although it’s already saved me a ton of time when feeding I’m looking to get even lazier(lol). Who has experience with buying soils online and where ?

Build-a-soil is stupid expensive. I usually just get large bags of FFOF soil and add in fresh worm casting. I imagine any decent organic garden soil could work.
If you are lazy AF like me let a worm factory 360 do some of the work for you; a free source of unlimited vermicompost is a huge benefit. The more you amend with it the more active your mix becomes. You can recharge & reuse your mix indefinitely.

If I were you I’d look to the organic section here and learn to do no till or build your own soil. It comes out much cheaper and will help you progress further as a grower imo of course.

Been recycling mixes for years and now use up to18\30 gallon used per mix. Make my own castings or vermicompost. Top dress lightly at 4 weeks and feed weak Alfalfa teas every third watering. And it does get better and better.

I’ve been learning a bit over the summers as I’m doing no till vegetable and herb garden. Just looking for an easy winter solution ! I live in northern Alberta so I get busy in the winter and sometimes just water is the easiest. I do have a lot to learn about no-tills yet though !

I am starting to recycle my soils and compost however I’ve only been at it a couple years and with the short summer season in northern Alberta it really slows you down! I move indoors in the winter and I don’t really have anywhere inside to do that.
