my very first grow! a newbie attempt

hello all,

so i wanted to start a journal for my first grow attempt on my own. I've had some experience following a master grower, but this is my first attempt at it on my own. I would like to state that this is all done legally where i am from. in my room, im using 3 1000watt HPS lights. 15 plants in a scrog. temps are between 21-26C during the day and normally no more than a 7 degree drop during lights off. it took me a few weeks to really nail down the temps as i had a bunch of earlier problems while waiting for some more equipment to come in. the strain is recon.

im starting this journal a bit late as i am 4 weeks into flower.

always looking for tips and advice along the way.

here is a updated pic of the girls. in the middle of W5 right now. i know this isnt a proper SCROG, still working on filling and training the plants during veg to get that even canopy! will get that fixed for the next run. when do you guys typically start or stop topping your plants?

I'm just starting out, too. That many plants at once as a new grower and all doing so well? That's impressive.
thanks! ive definitely ran into problems along the way, but what helped me the most is having everything pre planned from the beginning of what i had to do and when... and then adjusting slightly as time went on. I first wanted to make sure i nailed my temps which i was having a lot of trouble with early on. still got about 2 weeks left so hopefully nothing goes horribly wrong.

what i need to do for my next run is have them better trained and topped before they go in, i have a very uneven canopy. but Being able to actually go through the whole process on my own and troubleshoot problems was MAJOR in forcing me to learn new things. I just hope i can continue to get better with each passing run.

If you have a good grow area humidity, temp, and good at feeding it is about genetics some cultivars are just really dense while others not so much

had to cut the girls earlier than i wanted, but they all came down today. will update with final dry product pics when done.
glad i made it to the end with this one...so much more to learn. excited to start a new journal and keep improving. I think i defoliated a little too aggressive on this run as i left grew bigger buds must of went through too much unnecessary stress and im sure i can improve on next runs. will be fully cleaning the room this week and even started off with docter doom fogger to kill all the pest!

For a season grower this is an impressive harvest for a newbie this is unheard of and with a grow set up like this. Great job buddy! Impressed.

But yeah I would definitely give that Room a super cleaning. I could be wrong but judging by the pictures you just recently posted it looks like you could of had a pretty bads spider mite infestation. ( Sorry if you guys have already addressed this, I didn't read everything in this journal) Unless those are just little tric's I see all over the leaves. the picture quality isn't exactly the best quality.

yes i had a very bad spider mite infestation...thats why had to cut early... i guess i didnt mention that in here but ive posted many in the plant problem area for help. also ive been battling like crazy spraying the buds with water using a sprayer or constantly wiping them down. never rly killed them but didnt want to spray w chemicals so late into flower. definitely destroyed the trichs and over stressed the plants with even wiping the buds off daily.

Those buds looking prime,
What was your final weight.
do not have a final weight yet as im not done trimming everything. BUT after being dried and main branches taken off, the weight with dried leaves is at 4.6lbs. how much more do you think ill lose after all the hand trimming?

if i manage to get over 3lbs final product id be pretty stoked for this first time knowing there is so much more i can improve at.
