That's just another piece of far-right propaganda pushed on American civilians that don't understand how MOS or SAs work.

If true, that would mean 8% of the entire USMC applied for ASSIGNED detail in a single week while none applied the previous 8 years?!
Those position are sought after because of what it entails, NOT because of who the CIF is.
Further, the Pentagon and the "politics" of the White House have ALWAYS remained separate, though I'll admit, they are struggling with that more than ever now.
I always laugh when either side tries to use the military as leverage or to raise their platform, like its something new to use soldiers as political pawns.

I'm skeptical like you but I try to consume as much information as possible -- even from the far right. Talk radio is often a testing ground for what will hit the mainstream next.
But seriously, you should do a little more research on Donald Trump and his business practices. He was unethical WAY before he became president.

Hell, I even read his book back when I graduated from college in the late 80s. I was hoping it would give me some insight that would help my career.

It wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't helpful or insightful.

His biggest success was the 'Apprentice', but it wasn't his idea. (It was Mark Burnett.)

Trump is also semi-literate & mentally ill -- he proves it daily on twitter.

Do you really want him to control whether you live or die?
