Hello guys! your novice cannabis cultivator here... on my way 2 be intermediate... but still picking up things. i have about 5 out of 14 that i ended up keeping. my grow spot is in a bath... its actually a nice place... humid... the bath tub and white tiles help reflect and the curtains help retain. fixtures are easy 2 adjust. anyways.... i think i practically stressed the shit out of the tree's and there fore... all five of them hermied... i am about 2 move into my second week of flowering ... their at about 22 inch's... they sould be bigger but i stunted their growth on the grow process... over all i did pretty good 4 my first time...the buds smell nice even tho their still small.. and the trees look healthy, their jus small. i plan on buddin the hermies and tree 2 save the bud as much as possible by cutting the balls off. anyways i and eager 2 start # 2 crop... i already germinated 3 seeds and i plan on jus using a mother tree this time and cloning 2 focus all concentration on it... question is... can my hermies pollinate my babies even tho their only 3 days old... and if not , when will they? thanks guys

yes hermies can and will pollinate. i wouldnt suggest killing hermies tho, move to another spot, there are so many things u can do with them or just let grow out. I guarantee u bud grown properly, seeds or not its going to be 100 times better than any reggie floating around. Just my opinion tho, im sure alot would dissagree!

no doubt about that bro, especially when this strain is power kush hybrid... and its coming out so well... i had put a couple of the weaker ones out side but their looking crappy compaired to the ones under the hps... no the lil ones are about 4 days old now and are under the sink pretty much i kept one of the doors kinda open for ventilation. i especially want to hold on to them because its the only bud i have... if i had more trees ready to bud then i would mostly certainly consider .

i hate to contadict however
the herms can spread pollen onto the youngins which will be bad later but wont do anything to them right now since they aren't sexually mature.
your problem will be that if the hermies leave pollen in the room it can later affect the little ones. when they become sexually mature.

So what your wondering is can a hermie plant pollinate a 3 day old plant. NO. Your going to need some flowers to pollinate first, since the new plants are weeks away from that I would say you are ok. Pollen won't last very long in a warm high humidity area, a week at the most.

Can You provide pics of your plants that show the hermie parts. Are you positive its hermie?

i agree with phinx, it is completely possible that some pollen could get onto the little ones and stay there until the plant is ready to flower. at this point you would get a few seeds in the plants that are babies now.

oh and a hermie will produce completely smokeable bud itll just have seeds in it. and these seeds are almost all guaranteed to be female because the plant was a female polinated with female pollen. giving the seed only female genetics.

i recomend finding a way to save the hermies and then youll have seeds a plenty of whatever strain it was you said they were. i wouldnt mind having a shit ton of seeds, especially if i got at least some weed out of the plants. i would also let them mature a little longer to let the seeds mature so they are viable.
