What are symptoms of over transpiration? Please educate me because I have never heard of this!

transpiration is plants sweating...it cools them off, and it draws water up from the roots into the leaves, which is a major part of how they feed themselves. if the RH is very low, the plants transpire more, to cool themselves off, but this also draws up more of the nutrients in your soil, so what was a good ppm/ec at higher RH is now too strong at a lower RH, as they are absorbing more of it

If was nitrogen you would see the deficiency work its way up the plant. Seems to be more noticeable nearest to the light. Looks like Mag def. Epson salts work, bottle of calmag is about 5£.

thats good for veg, most people like it under 50% for flower, to avoid any chance of pm or bud rot.
you might want to try dialing the nutes back a little, and check that ph meter asap, they can come out of adjustment.
most of the ones that cost under 20 dollars are the same little pcb and sensors in different cases, or sometimes not even different cases, just different stickers...you might get lucky and get a good one, but most of them will drift a lot, and require adjustment on a monthly, if not a weekly basis. i dropped 35 on a dr.meter ph meter, they aren't the best made, but they're better than the cheapest ones, and use a better board with a better sensor. i check mine once a month, it's self adjusting as part of the process, and it's only adjusted itself one time in over 6 months now

I’ll check the pen again, but I just got it pretty recently

I have a blue labs pen and I calibrate it once/month. Your soil has buffers in it so measuring the ph of the run off may not give you an accurate reading of the ph going in. I grew in pro mix and Botanicare. Ph 6.3 of everything going in.

I’m going to feed it with cal mag right now, but I also do have Epsom salt. I heard that cal mag also has iron in it, so I hope that might help in case it is iron deficiency, too. Is epsom salt or cal mag better to try?

Voting for cal-mag deficiency. I got the same prob. Going to the grow store tomorrow. I noticed this happens more often in coir.
