Hey guys so I’m about 4 weeks in from seed growing in coco with eco thrive charge.
Temps:24-26c lights on/20-22 lights off
Ph:5.8-5.9
Using shogun nutes at half strength and cal mag at half strength.
Over the last few days some of my bigger fan leaves have been a bit droopy and clawing, I did do a bit research before posting here. What I gathered was over watering too hot in the tent. Just looking for a bit advice I’ll upload pictures too so you guys can see the 2 strains are sorbet and double stuffed sorbet.689F1910-1260-4FC8-8EBF-852CA357E249.jpeg

Usually every 2-3 days I don’t let them dry out completely but I’ll lift the pots to feel the weight of them
I do the same and i mean they look good for 4 weeks, I was just dealing with droopy leaves myself just 2 days ago and they were pretty damn droopy, but I knew i wemt 3 days when now i need to water every other day as these WW seem to be heavy feeders and mine are at about 6 weeks. I gave em just a little plain distilled water and next day they look a little better than today i hit em with a good watering with nutes and they’ll look amazing tomorrow. Do u think youve been over watering? Im not familiar growing in coco as i do soil, but I used peat moss organic shit once but to me it was easy to over water, at least my experience

I mean I could be over watering I always thought it was good to keep the coco moist so I’ve been watering with around 20% run off and there drinking around 2 litres each every 2nd day I’ll probably let them go 3 days now and keep an eye on them for now thanks for your help!

Don't let them dry out...you'll have more than droopy leaves to deal with.

What size pot are you using and how long have they been in them? Are you just using coco and perlite or is there something else in the mix?

I’m using 12l it’s a coco and perlite with added eco thrive charge they have been in the 12L pots for around 2 weeks transplanted from 1l pots

This is part of your hurdle: 1L to 12L, just 2 weeks ago. Coco kids don't mind smaller pots, in fact they prefer it. You're going to have to manage your feeds carefully until they're able to fill those pots up with roots. At the moment, it's not odd for them to be drooping considering this. The conundrum is keeping the coco moist (don't let it dry out) vs not drowning the plant, hence why smaller pots are preferred.

Also, 20% run off is not necessary...that equates to over 1/2 gallon of feed, considering your pot size. Just water enough to get the smallest amount of run off...say a cup. It's not necessary to run that much through them, especially if you're only running 1/2 strength nutrients.

I would scrap the eco thrive...keep your deal simple until you get a handle on things. Be patient while they try to fill in their new homes. Good luck

Thanks for your help! So to fix this problem next feed I’ll aim for say 5% run off untill my root system has filled the pot. The coco is pre charged with eco thrive, the plants are not slowing in growth it’s just the droopy leaves there in fabric pots too but as you’ve explained the roots haven’t filled the pots yet.

Ah, ok, I didn't know the Eco Thrive was already in the mix...just carry on with it then. I would say even the 5% is too much, but go with that, at least in your mind, so you have something to shoot for. Remember 5% is about a quart...still plenty for a 3 gallon pot. And the fact that they haven't slowed down is a good sign...just be patient and you'll be good to go. Good luck

I’d say temps are fine, pH is perfect, nutes are good. I think your do everything about right except for overwatering.IMO.
I’m right at 4 weeks as well in an RDWC system...
