This way, once he's voted out and arrested, he'll have been impeached but never acquitted.

That’s an interesting idea. Maybe if the rules are inadequate but if they can get the 4 witnesses to testify I say full steam ahead to the senate trial. I want to hear the truth and nothing but the truth. Unless they can testify there is zero point in a senate trial , it would just be a cover up.

If it goes anywhere is probably unlikely but Mcconnell is a snake and I could see a number of RINO's taking advantage of it.
