I was actually looking at the DIY setups from hgl but it doesnt really save too much money from what I seen and they’re a bit pricier
Oh we could get you going in the diy game and you can build exactly what you want to crush that space and the price will be comparible.

Let me know if you wanna go down that rabbit hole, im around all day, i can help you out where needed.

Just saying I atleast dropped 2gs easily just on this tents lights best decision I made
Maybe down the road i can do something like that, these light are just a little more budget friendly for now and they’re a little less than $1 per watt, just not the Samsung diodes or Meanwell driver but should do just fine till i can afford to throw more money into lighting

Well that’s much appreciated and if this price is comparable I’m up for it as I’m on vacation for the next 8 weeks so I have the time to invest also

2 x 480w meanwell = $260

you an easily get strips to cover that space perfectly, all you would need then is something for a frame and some wire and wagos

What’s strips would u recommend for one foot strips or two footers

it depends on what you want to spend and what the lights will be used for full cycle? veg? just flower?

If you want to do it economically, i would suggest the bxebs or vestas
if you want to go all out id look into the Nichias/sol strips or h influx

if just a veg light, def the bxebs

God you can do a diy from cutter and they would blow the Mars out of the sky
Never even heard of cutter lol. I am a newb but prefer to do things the right way to start with and I like diy projects as well. I’m just not familiar with wiring up drivers etc

2 of these 480w drivers

28-36 strips from cutter( same strips i built my lights with)

at 14 strips per 480w driver , you will be running them at 34w per strip, thats a good efficient number while keeping the cost somewhat in check...The more strips you add, the softer they can run but it ups the cost ofcourse. I use 18 per 480w driver to give you an idea

ya man, id get a pile of the bridgelux gen 2s now before they are discontinued, they are perfect veg strips at 4000/5000k and they are nicely priced, especially since they released the new gen 3s, but for veg, the gen 2s are ideal.
