Tent setup 3x3 - do i have enough light?

I have a 3x3 tent with a 185 watt actual burple led. I also have an old 150 watt hps in there too. And a couple high watt cfls if need be.
Is this enough light for my space or should I return the led and get something else dont say quantum board.
If I got a 400 watt hps-
Would that + the led be too much light?

I'd return the 185w burple light and get a hps/my combo kit or a 315w cmh. I have a 4x4 and plan on using a 315w cmh and my old 150w hps.

...what's wrong w quantums...?

My recommendation would be to get a cheap 1000w kit from amazon like the ipower setup, or used from CL, I scored the other day and got an 8" original blockbuster hood, eye hortioux a killer quiet inline fan name brand and a name brand ballast for 100$

I have a double bulb, not double ended, double bulb 315w cmh so 630 total watts, it isnt air cooled tho, if you want I can sell it to you for 80+shipping. Its brand new only turned on for 10 mins, has 2 Phillip's agromax

Those 1000w leds usually arnt the actual power draw I have 4 1000w cree cob lights but the actual power draw is 250w each so 1000w total but I knew that befor I bought them. always look for the actual power draw it dosnt matter if they say 1500w led on the title or shit if the description dosnt say for example Actual Power Draw: 250w
Don't buy and blurples arnt the best

Ya I'm well aware of that, I hate that misleading sh!t

But I have another random question-

How bad would it be, if instead of my lights on at 8am and off at 8pm, today i switched the schedule to the opposite of that (so off at 8am instead). Is it okay or would it hurt the plants too much? They are in like 2nd week flower

To be honest this grow has been plagued with light leaks because I've had to water them at lights off a few times, but I dont want to hurt them anymore than what's been done....

With the temp without a heater I wouldn't know how to rais it. But I wouldn't just flip the time the turn on and off like that it would be better to keep it off once it turns off by it's self untill you want it on and set the desired time doing it the other way might infuse seed growth

It would be best to switch it using the lights out phase as the buffer rather than lights on, so you'd wait until 7:59am right before lights come on and change the schedule then so that they stay off for another 12 hours before coming back on at 8pm, this will still confuse the plants a little but not nearly as much as the other way around... think about it, in nature there is sometimes very cloudy/stormy days where a plant may never get sunlight so its like an extra long night for them but theres never a night where the plants are getting sunlight, even a full moon isnt enough to keep a plant "awake". Also in regards to your other question about heat, wait until after youve changed the light schedule to determine if you need that, chances are running from 8pm-8am the lights will keep your area warm enough that you dont need to suppliment heat, likewise the temps should stay within +/-10 during lights out since the warmer daytime tempatures will keep it from getting too cold during lights out. most people run their lights at night because of this, unless they have a dedicated hvac system for their room.

My advice for your OP is firstly to take everyone's advice in stride- Yes "blurple" lights are frowned upon by most but that doesnt mean every light that emits that spectrum is junk.. my platinum leds are "blurple" but put out more PAR than same wattage HLG boards, i will be the first to say that no i do not own a HLG board, i do want one and im close to buying a HLG135 for my bonsai moms so i can put the other P150 i have in there currently back into my flower side, but ive seen enough comparison videos and peoples own par readings on them to know that the HLG300 v2 that i considered for my 2x2 flower space has a par of 750ish @18" height and my P300 has 1100ish @ 18" and i can fit 2 P300's or a P300 and 2 P150's in that space whereas i could only fit the 1 HLG300 and nothing else except maybe strips but im not gonna count that since i could add strips to the platinum setup also, and the larger HLGs wont fit a 2x2 space :( If youve got some money look into platinum LEDs, otherwise as others have suggested you could look for a cheaper 1000w light that might have an actual draw of 300.. imo thats money wasted but to each their own.. oldschool HPS/MH has never let anyone down either.. if you can manage your temps really well go for that, otherwise id stick to LED for easier temp control.

Also any tips on keeping the temps up at night without getting a heater?
I do that in the winter because the light on at night keeps the temps up which isn't as big of a problem in the day. I run mine on at 10 pm and off at 9:30 am. I am a night person also so it gives me time at night to tend to them.

I didn't realize people still used HID lighting. It's so 1990's.
well you know the old saying- if it aint broke dont fix it! lol seriously though hps is still a more than viable option, LED have come a long way and i personally love them but im not gonna deny that i got fatter heavier buds from hps, but at the expense of being in total control of my environment, so thats the main benefit of LED for me.
