Are these trichomes ready??!

I was using a handheld microscope until today when I received a digital one. I want to be sure I do not harvest my ladies too early! However, they look yellow to me and now I am really confused! Are these ready to harvest?

Also... Is that yellow color actually Amber??
You really only get three choices once the trich head is ripening clear>cloudy>amber, in that order.

Like any cut flower it will continue to ripen so I personally aim for about 40% amber depending on strain and desired effects.

I prefer to harvest when one or two calyx trichomes start to turn amber. I don't like the more sedative effects of CBN, and if I chop at the first hint of amber on the calyxes that gives the remaining clear trichome heads a chance to turn milky.
A lot of guys this year harvested immature bud because they checked the sugar leaves, as they are easier to check.
A full plant pic would be helpful as well, some of the other guys on here don't even bother looking at trichomes, they just wait until the plant looks "done".

Leaves often go amber tryke earlier than calyxes which is what we are interested in.

The lights are off but I will absolutely take a picture of them in the morning. I have some pictures from the buds that I took earlier. I will post them now. They are not sugar leaves...but pics of calyx.

I usually cut them the first site of ambering. Remember that the plant ripens even after chopp. So if I cut them when they are clear/ some cloudy then 3 weeks later after harvest 90% of the trichs are cloudy. If I chopp when they are 90% cloudy 10% clear then 3 weeks after harvest it is 80% cloudy 20% amber. Just from experience and experimenting. Hope this helps.

The beauty of growing your own herb is you can tailor it to your own personal liking. For future grows I suggest researching the 3 stages of trichombe growth and harvest when you feel it's where you want it.

that's like 90% cloudy 10% amber
i let mine go to 75/25 or so, it makes you more tired. you could cut now if you want to; it'll be a more energizing like high though. it's up to you and your preference. regardless, you're gonna get toasted it looks like.

Okay, looking at the calyx pics those look just about ready.
Sorry if I seemed a bit alarmist there, but a lot of guys cut early because of sugar leaves.

Thank you so much for all of your help… Now the million dollar question! I flushed for about three days, a week ago, and then I started feeding again because I realized they were not ready. I didn’t see too much impact but now I have been flushing with just pH water for two days… Can I chop them or do I need to keep flushing?‍♀
