I run autos... Is it harmful to run my rspec board 24-7??? If so then it has to go!!! I don't need or want a light that I can only use sometimes...

I should'nt even respond to this. The education system of what ever country you live in is terrible.

Yes you can run it 24/7.

Does running 24/7 do anything but increase your electricity bill ? Yes.

Even auto's benefit from some lights off time. But you will get a lot of bro science saying other wise .. but you do you. Also who spends the cash on a Rspec QB and then asks on a message board if you can only run it ... sometimes ?

Yes you can I say yeild would be just a bit more like a few grams but the turning lights on and off really cuts into your bulb and what ever light source you use. So I say its an even trade with electricity. So Just leave them on if I were you.

What makes you ask this question? Did you hear somebody else say they cant be run 24/7?
Yeah, I read it last night on one of these threads, I can't remember which one though... It didn't seem right to me so instead of being in a place where it didn't seem like everyone really knew what they were talking about, just want to argue about EVERYTHING, so I put it out here like this...

Natures ultimate Grow Light sets daily and plants have adapted to that environment over the millennia. I'm in the "plants need a dark period" camp.

Just curious ... exactly what would you replace the R-Spec with?

just out of curiousity (i'm not a auto guy), have you run 20-4 for autos? or 24-0 is better you think?
I've done 18-6,20-4,22-2... I run mephisto autos and they say 24 hrs... So 24hrs it is... I will tell you this though...12-12 is NOT for autos!!!

I wouldn't bet the farm on leds wearing out from turning them on and off. Incandescent and HID, yes... leds, no.
