So this is my Choco Candy by Zambeza's 5th week, it stopped growing at the end of week 3 due to an apparent nute deficiency. I'm growing in coco, using general hydroponics fertilizers, and was using bottled water. My last growth with landraces also had similar problems and it seems to be the water, they're not digging something. I have a ph test kit and the rundown water had 5.0 ph. My understanding is that for coco 5.5 - 6.5 should be the range, so this seems below the range. For that reason I am using tap water now for a week but I see no improvements. I don't have a ph down up formula. What would you suggest?
So far, I'm only thinking on getting natural spring water from a river I'm going to this weekend.78179979_2250419311923201_4507676337313415168_n.jpg

I would definitely grab some ph up and down and bring the ph to 6.0 and what nutes have you been giving it and it dosnt look like there is a deficancy cuz the top leaves look good the bottom leaves wont turn green again you have to be looking at the new growth and what size pot is that the tap root could of reached the bottom halting it's growth and how old is that seedling

Looks like you need to feed it more often you want Coco to be saturate so water daily. Dont treat it like soil its hydroponic so water 1 or 2 time daily. That's the reason why your leaf are yellowing

OK but if I stick my finger in the soil it is moist underneath, this is why I water every 3-4 days. With my landraces that I grew previously, it seems I was overwatering (the leafs looked droopy and it got better when watering every 4-5 days) are you sure? Also, the leafs don't seem dry like underwatering, ever. PH up / down is so expensive in Mexico, like $50

Do you have any drainage holes in the bucket cuz if not your pooling water at the bottom which is not good

Yes, I tried to make a hempty bucket out of it but the hole ended up too close to the bottom so it drains almost like a normal pot. By the way, upon inspection right now, a finger does not feel moist actually, almost dry..
