Proper lighting and coverage

Need to extract the heat from your tent and vent it out of your room somehow. Need a fan and filter. Mine runs through the light to cool the lamp.

I extract out of my bedroom into my basement. You could also run an air conditioner obviously.

I’m isolated so I’m comfortable opening the window a tad. I was told by a guy that grows in colder climates that it Wrk’s the same as any cooling and air flow system

5x5 grow space-I was told one 1000w hps is sufficient . Can I grow seed to harvest with hps only?? And is this wattage enough or too much??

Yeah 1000 watt HPS should be sufficient, I don’t know if your using a tent or just free space? Mylar or foil the walls and that will help you keep light, however I have found HPS is not the best option for vegging and have issues with stretching. I run LED’s and then bust out the HPS for flowering. The down another downside on HPS is that they are directional and not full spectrum. Nothing wrong with HPS though! I for the first time will be using Spider farmer SF 1000 to flower this time around just out of curiosity of yield but pretty certain it will not produce them big dense nugs like HPS. Happy growing

I am using free space friend and yes I will use Mylar for the walls. This is my 2nd grow and I was on point with what I believe to have been my mistakes. Now with the tips I’ve gotten here I will certainly produce a better product this time. Many thanks to you and everyone here I’ve learned plenty in 48 hrs!!!
