Anybody ever try cloud lighting?

Hahahaaa. Okay.. It an optimal outdoor grow. There would be no clouds.. Cloud are a limiting factor in outdoor and so are rainy day.. What would be a dream would be rain on a clear bleu sky... Has as cloud passes in frot of tge sun. Lumen goes down and photosythesis radiation par are filtered.. 1.5 pound grow mean nothing alone.. Canopy size and light intesity (penetration of light) and actual spectrum of light and the strain use all have an impact on final yield. The yield/m2 of a strain givin in a foot of camopy thickness. Lets says 550g per meter for a strain, then needd to be complemented by a light that covers the canopy in order to acheive that 550g. So giving the factor that you normal grow a strain that gives out 450g per square meters and then switch to a strain that can give 650g per squar meter and start playing with light intensity by lwering watage of by shuting lights out here and then and get 550g from that strain. And have 150g more then your average 400 g strain. Maybe you would be under that you yield more then you think. But the fack woult be that you've grown 100g less then actual strain suggest.... So no, you don't get more photosynthisis activity by reducing photosynthisis factor in your grow set up.. If you reduce a decisif factor in growing youbreduce growing performance in general.
Get a load of this nerd lol

Just kidding. Good explanation dude

I am a little surprised, but not really, how some focus on the irrelevant. Their explanation on why they did that was clouds. What counts is that they were able to increase their yield by using a grid pattern with alternating lights. I personally think it's the same as with a light mover, getting different angles of light and better overall coverage. I move my lights around to change the sweet spot, not by much, just adjustments. So nobody here remembers reading it years back or has experience with it, too bad. I also think it's a shame that you guys have those reactions, your are free to join any thread you want. If this was a thread about a movie, you basically walked in and started to give opinions on a movie you didn't see. Bravo.

And anybody who really doesn't believe that you could increase yield this way must also not believe that light movers work, training works, or any of the other little methods that people use to increase yield. I used the term cloud because that was in the article and I was trying to kick memories, but focus on that guys. Just sad, would be nice to be able to talk to people about this hobby without that nonsense.

I know, it's rough to be misunderstood; Edison, Da Vinci, Galileo, Tesla were as well.

Remember that movie with the watch and the cowboys? I could have a conversation with somebody has has seen that movie because that would be enough to remind them. If you had read the article I’m talking about my first post would remind you. You didn’t read it so why continue?

That’s about what I thought. You could have stopped at, “no I never read that or done that.” But you choose the other route which is sadly what I kind of expect from you from what I’ve seen. Grab a gif.
If you want a serious answer post this in the lighting subforum or in almost any other of the marijuana grow forums. But this is TnT. It's a roll of the dice what you get when you come here with a serious question.

I have read similar posts before about mimicking clouds. Usually by someone like yourself that has no personal experience with such a
practice.

Do you know why more people don't post about it? Ever thought about that?

If it produced a significant gain in yield it would be common practice and more people would do it.

How many of the old wives tales have you tried? Quick grab a nail and stab you plants to increase yield.

I'll stick with what works well.

The combined growing experience here in TnT is a treasure trove of knowledge.

If you are disappointed in the response you have received then try asking in another forum and see if the response is more to your liking.

Old wives tails with data. That’s what you are missing. And I have guesses to why it’s not used, you need many lights and basically a warehouse. I’ve never been that big but doesn’t mean I can’t be curious.

I’ve noticed a lot of growth in my grow room when I’m jacking off on my plants, I always thought it was the semen ferts but now I think it’s my dick cloud. Also I’m going to try the penis pump for extra large dick clouds.
