With my setup since winter is coming I need to vent in the same room otherwise my heat source is going to continually run my hydro bill through the roof. I vent outside in the summer and was wondering since I have some negative pressure should I attach a piece of duct work to the bottom of tent to allow fresh air in from outside.... since I'm exhaust/intake from the same room. I'm running LED.
Should I use negative pressure to pull in outside air?

Well if you do that make sure it's filtered just in case. You would want a temperature controller to kick off the fan if it's getting too cool, a cheap inkbird would work. You probably want a normally closed damper wired up to open when the blower is running. Thing is it could get too cold in there. Without a damper when your lights are out if it's windy outside it could blow too much cold air into your grow. That can cause all sorts of bad things like PM.
Ok maybe I should explain a little different, i have a tent in my garage with a intake fan pushing air into tent from garage but I'm also venting my exhuast into the same room because of the cold my garage heat is separated from the house heat. In the summer i vent outside. My tent has a little bit of negative pull and is it a good idea to use that pull to bring in a little fresh air from outside since I'm exhaust/intake in the same room. Tent size is 5.5×4×6.5 divider wall in tent for 2nd room garage size 250sq

It was drawing in to much cold air, dropped my temp to low so canned the idea since I got space. And I figured my garage door still has some leaks so it's not all recycled air. First official grow and using LED. I'm 8 weeks into flower and the next set of ladies are ready to go in when theses finish in weeks 9/10/11
