Week 3 today things are kicking off good better then I thought I get another 150 sol in about 6 days to finish her off just hope it gets here in time ohh and sum nugs from my last grow 4 months cured
How are you liking the grow? The plants look healthy and happy which is good work for first timer. Hope youre taking temperature and environment advice to heart, the first time as hps-er its usually hard to believe how hot you need your airtemps to achieve proper transpiration.

You got these from cutter
Ahh nice the 300mm is pretty good I must say get a 2nd one in a few days so I'm keen to see what 2 can do
Hey Robbo, ask mark/welight about 2700k 90cri solskins, imo this one of the biggest advantages with going with cutter as they can make any spectrum you want, whereas hlg seems to be either 3000k 80cri or their R-Spec boards.

Ive made grow comparisons and the 2700k 90cri won in flower: faster development, bigger buds, transition/stretch was faster (and not really any extra stretch, att least not in flower).

You can get similar spectrums and results using extra reds and whatnot. But afaihs i think its better to have as much red as you can in your base white spectrum, rather than addinng it oon later. White diodes are made out of blue diodes but covered with a phosphor mix which gives tthe rest of the spectrum. Blue diodes have a few superior characteristics: they are very electrically efficient and the are much less affected by temperature than other leds. This means to me the more red you can squeeze out of your white leds the better.

More red and a littlle more far red the better. Too much blue will reduce yield, increase thc but seems like total thc remains the same..

A very little uvb will increase plant health and thc. As far as ive read papers and seen side by sides atleast

the grow is kicking along well mate it has it moments were i think its not doing anything then it surprises me haha .the solskin are pretty good i must say pretty stable and easy to throw together i get away with the red by adding the good old led grow light the 180 w i have contain the red diods also i am going to run uv-a lights i have been chating to mark via email so he knows what kind of light i like and there a good company i did a bit of research and found the solskins to be the best maxium yeild and a few other places recommend them
