What’s the deal on the yield?

It's not even the lights guys. To get a pound or more in a 3x3 you need like 90% of the area to have high par readings. Coverage area guys that's another key. Those low light areas outside of the lights spread are useless. So you have a 3x3 but in reality your effective area with necessary par needed is more like a 2x2 area. Hope that makes since. Popcorn buds are buds generally lower on the plant that don't get enough light. Coincidence? I think not.

I thought the same thing. That's why I'm now running a 315W CMH with Phillips 3100k and 600W HPS in a 4x4.
In those hoods I can get light within 8" of canopy.

Ordered the 3k Phillips bulb, I’m thinking either 2 65 qb or 2 100 watt qb 3500k should be enough light..6-9 plants 2 1/2-3 gallon pots..top plants until canopy is even and full.. no light will hit the bottom of the tent...place fan underneath plants for circulation...I would like to keep it soil...got too much of this super soil around at the moment... really not familiar with coco.. though I’ve mixed it with my soil in the past..hoping for @ least 3/4’s......
Y’all gave me so many ways to accomplish my goal... I really appreciate it!!!
And to KISS, I’m not gonna mix strains... just run a pack of something and hope they stay close to sameness..

I couldn't disagree more. I've pulled 10 ounces off 1 plant with a 5 week veg.

As I said, I’d never Veg LESS THAN A MONTH. Pretty sure 5 weeks is more than a month. Looks great btw. My last grow was one plant Veg for a month, then re-veg for a month. 10 week flower, 713g

Fair enough. I guess I'm on the flip side. I wouldn't veg longer than 6 weeks. Unless I was doing a 2 plant grow in a rdwc in the 3x3 or something similar. You have a good point though in saying that you need to fill out your space as much as possible. I guess the right answer is to veg until you have good coverage and then flip. Obviously your environment, training, etc is going to be a big factor in all plant stages. Good info here guys. Cheers.

Post microscopy of your soil then and only then can we address your microbial imbalance.

The only thing lights do is make sugars for da microbes, you don't even be grow lights if you feed da microbes

I feel sorry for you man. Honestly there isn't anything wrong with your light and spectrum. I'm using the same bulb 4200k and will easily clear a lb in my 3x3.
Its shocking honestly to see no one asking what strain your growing or what ec or ppm your feed is at or even things like fresh air and proper temp and RH before sending you to buy new lights and more.

The longer veg time is debatable, SoG will get you the largest yields and that uses 0 veg time. Grow a big mom clone her and run 16 x 1 gallons in your 3x3 and you should clear an ounce per plant easily. Once you have your environment and feed dialed in your yields will increase more than simply changing lights.

Yeah genetics are super important . so is your enviroment . just take things 1 grow at a time and try to get it dialed in the best you can. Temps , Rh, air exchange , watering and feed habits. Honestly I wouldn't bother with autos after you complete this run , potency and terps were lacking in my experience .

This gives you more control over your canopy size, and grow in general. If you want to run "autos" fill the whole space with small plants and run 12/12 from seedling. Otherwise, veg your photo plants until you have 50-75% of the canopy you desire, and then flip them to 12/12. They will typically double in size during the transition period, and you will have a nice full canopy when they begin to flower. If there is light hitting your floor or your pots then you aren't maximizing your canopy space . Canopy Space+Root Space+Light+keeping it healthy(nutrition,RH,temp,airflow)= Big yields.

Completely agree about the autos. I am finding they are very finicky.

Oh, you LST'ed me?= droop+look like shit.

Temp raised 2 degrees? =droop+look like shit

Watered a day late/early= droop+look like shit

Meanwhile, I have a 4" tall photo cutting in there vegging in the same conditions and the whole time she's like ...Y... towards the light.

No more autos for me...

I like this.. will give this a try.. seems simple..1 oz per gallon.... order the bulb anyways...I think I can get it...will try fem seeds.. to make sure they are girls
