Bringing edibles to China? Yes or No?

I will be leaving from LAX and my destination is Nepal but I have two layovers in China. I'm wondering if I will be fine if I bring gummy bears with me? Problem is, these gummy bears are homemade. I heard something about gummy bears from actual companies being impossible to detect by police dogs while homemade gummy bears can be detected.
Just want to hear your opinion.

You get caught in China....Your subject to Chinese law/rules.
You will be GUILTY unless you can prove your not.....You can't!
You will be thrown into a hell hole.. And will serve decades and not years..
If found guilty.

Hell no! It would be one thing to visit China and purchase something while there. Get caught smuggling cannabis or cannabis products into China and you could very well end up in front of a firing squad. That's no joke.

So what I'm flying from Mexico to LAX then China then Katmandu. So what I'm gonna do is bring the gummies from Mexico. There are no sniffing dogs here and if I get caught I can bribe my way out, but seriously I don't think nothing will ever happen. Then LAX, and weed is legal in California, so I'll just throw them in a trail mix, so I will bring them on the flight to China and will just finish the bag before arriving to China.

No not safe. California might be a legal state but customs is a federal entity. If caught while going through customs in LAX you will be charged with drug smuggling by the feds.

No layover? There are deliveries, maybe one goes to LAX and you don’t have to break any laws. Check Weedmaps or something. You’ll pay retarded prices but have zero chance of going to jail

I don't know but I personally wouldn't take the chance trying to smuggle cannabis products into the country. If you're comfortable doing it then go for it. You'll probably be fine but I wouldn't take the chance of doing 5 years in a federal prison for a few gummies. They serve alcohol on the plane. I'd slam a few drinks and then go to sleep.

For many Schedule I and II controlled substances, the first trafficking offense is punishable by at least 5 years in prison.
