Wondering how much defoliation works best for better flowering .
Their 2 days into week 3 of flower , I seen some people really strip off the leaves and their buds really blow up ,
and theirs those who only remove bottom third and no leaves towards the top ,.

So hmmm what would give me the better results ?

thanks

Uh oh. You just started a major debate. I remove leaves that are blocking bud sites in flower, but I do it little by little. I try to do all my defoliation in veg though.

They are not quite at 3 weeks, I stripped them early because they where getting to big , I wanted them to stop the stretch.

The main point of defoliation is getting light down low, if you don’t grow your plants big, or if your light isn’t up to penetrating through to the bottom, it’s a waste .

Personally, I would start with some lower lollipoppin ,See how the plant reacts to what you do ,remove the odd fan leaves that are blocking bud sites.
As you observe and gain understanding, do more .

I do total defoliation in the 1st week of flip, I removed all fan leaves 'from the main stem' aside the upper 2 fan leaves from the shoot. After that as new fan leaves developed, I removed the old leaves.

I think it's just personal preference. Some people like cute little trimmed plants and some people like big trees with lots of leaves and buds.
