I have looked at that before and decided it is too messy, too much a PIA, drilling rivets and not cost effective. Amazon has new 6" Australian carbon filters for $50.Is it worth the effort to repack a carbon filter with fresh activated charcoal? I got one thats not keeping up anymore, and if so where is good place to get it? Found some on Ebay but it looks like pellets
absolutely notIs it worth the effort to repack a carbon filter with fresh activated charcoal?
No.Is it worth the effort to repack a carbon filter with fresh activated charcoal?
same brand i run, i think mine's phresh, been using it for years..One tip, I have Phat filters that have been running nonstop over 6 years and still work. Phat and Phresh are the only filters I will buy, because they work so well and last so long.
You won't have that problem with the Phat or Phresh.i dont like the flange on them though
You mean pull from the other end of the filter? You might get a little use out of it that way but if odor control is critical just replace it.Should i flip the flanges before I trash it?
I have been running mine almost 7 years with no refilling and they still work like a champ.Been refilling mine for about 7 years, no magic in filling them just corporate propaganda so as to sell more filters. Mine are mainly perforated stainless those parts last about forever.
Not become “Nose Blind” by any chance?I have been running mine almost 7 years with no refilling and they still work like a champ.
lol nope. I have two filters in each flowering room. I forgot to plug one back in when I started this round and I noticed the smell trying to come back, plugged it in and bam, gone. Without the CF's you could smell my grow from the street, strongly. With them you can't smell it standing in the room with the plants. Not become “Nose Blind” by any chance?
