She may need a little more than 2 weeks but she is looking great. Have you checked the tric's? If so are they all cloudy or do you see any of them with an amber color? The hairs are still white? Looking good bro, I love my 4VS and am also on then beginning of week 7 of flower.

Back with an update from the first run with my Timber 4VS in a 3x3 Gorilla Grow Tent.

This plant is a Southern Passion bred by Dazed Jahentix, (hash passions 1 x southerk skwurl). I grew her from seed, veg'd outdoors in a 8gal fabric pot for about 7 weeks, and when we hit 12 hours of sun outside, I moved her into the tent, under the 4VS. Running the Timber at 100%, 12hr on / 12 hr off.

These pics are from week 6/7 of flower, and I think she's got another 1 - 2 weeks to go.

Next up for this tent is gonna be 4x Grateful Casey's that are currently 1 week old. I'm gonna move then into 5gal, veg for 1 month, then flip to flower. Great light, but I'm considering adding a sunrise / sunset exotic set to this one.

Sorry for the long time. This grow yielded 13 ounces dry. Did another grow recently and got a whopping 23 ounces off 3 plants in a 3x3. I added the 2vl to my tent for that grow in addition to the 4vs.

I added 2 more vero 29 as well. See above. Your yeilds really go through the roof with the extra lighting.

Are you guys running the deflectors on your COBs? Mine shipped with a note from Timber that the cobs effected the overall PAR values, and you got a decent % increase removing them.

From their website currently - "Please note, reflectors as shown are no longer available. Recent integrated sphere testing has shown a loss of almost 8-10% in PAR wattage using the reflectors vs not. Additionally, the light is able to be operated closer to the canopy with even PAR spread."

I did check the trichomes on this southern passsion, about 50/50 cloudy / clear and at or under 10% amber. I'd guess 10 days, but it could totally be 2 more weeks. It's *always* longer than you expect, right?

Ive been looking into supplemental lighting you kinda confirmed what I've suspected my 340w. is a bit light for my 3x3

Absolutely. I saw like almost double yeild when I added the 2vl. I was also dwc for full disclosure.

I've been running the deflectors since I've had the lights. Saw the timber literature suggesting no deflectors. Might try them that way next run. Have to say though I've had awesome results with them on.

I do a coco based medium in smart pots & single plant grows everything is dialed in with the exception of my lights I'm really wishing I would of got larger lights in the first place instead of having to find supplement lighting lol

But it gives you the chance to mix your spectrum a little. The 4vs is 3500k and I got 3000k for the 2vl. I noticed bigger flowers under the 3000k spectrum.

Mine came without the reflectors as well. I trust the folks at Timber when they say that the lights perform better without them though.

I lined my tent with Orca Film and couldn’t be happier with the 4VS. At 24” My Quantum Meter is reading a little over 800 in the corners and a little over 1000 in the middle of the tent (and every other reading is somewhere between those points, most in the 900 range). Pretty good improvement over the PAR map posted on the site I must say. I’d bet I could get it between 1200 and 900 if I dropped it down a little lower.

Based on this I think I should be able to max out my tent. Or at least hopefully hang with the rest of you Timber growers.

At 36” my meter is pretty much a solid 600-700 so I figure I’ve got a solid 12-18” of solid bud/cola producing light.

Your plant is looking awesome! Good job!
