What do you mean by "best grades"? What do you mean by "deserve"? How would you even know if the black person (or Hispanic or woman) who beat you out of a job was not more qualified for the job? Would believe the manager who decided not to hire you if they told you so?

They have to have so many minorities who are given scholarships, many times they will give these based on race and not qualifications to fill the quota. Same as the united negro college fund. Therefore a non minority with better grades would get looked over to fill the spot for minorities only based on their skin color and not their grades.
