Let lower buds go longer?

After a week of trimming, I’m tired. So, wondering what to do about all the lower, larfy buds. Should I just pick them off and throw them in with my shake or if I let em go, will they fatten up at all and turn into something worth trimming?

I thought I did. I used a finisher nute with low N and high P&K for the last month of the grow but still got lots of leaf. Wouldn’t genetics dictate this more than a feeding program? Only my 2nd year at it so still learning lots.
