Skip it... You seem too nervous.
You should really put some time in educating your self about growing. That plant is about to start needing you to know what's going on.

I say just grow it, don't overthink. Growing pot is a learning experience. Most rookie mistakes are made by over thinking and doing too much. All they really need is food, water, and light.

pluck the little pre flower at top for now and thats it for about a week. look up topping. will give you more main colas

Research....lots and lots of mind numbing research. I’m on my first grow as well, when you think you might figure out a way to do something, research it for another 12 hrs before you do it. Write everything down as you do it (this stuff tends to hurt our memory a bit)
