Good evening all, Today id like to ask for some help with psi calculations and/or general drip knowledge, Ive done DWC and EnF for years and at one point converted my EnF setup to be a drip to waste and while it worked fine, i dont think i did it the "right way". Im setting up a new grow and will be doing drip to waste again but this time id like to do it right. Ive googled these calculations over and over but its a bit more math than i understand if im being totally honest lol. So heres the setup. I have a 16gal reservoir that will hold my nutrient solution for 4 plants, i have a 300gph pump that pushes up just under 2ft head height to get out of the res, then about a 8ft run of 1/2" hose going from the res into the tent to a 4way drip manifold, the manifold is on a 1ft riser (im not sure if this second rise even matters much to the calculations since its not even as tall as the first rise {to get out of the barrel} but idk) theres about 8inches of 1/4" hose connected from the manifold to each pot, they are 2 gal pots and im using a coco/perlite mix so i plan to do 1gph drippers on a 15min cycle either once or twice a day (depending on the plants response) for a theoretical total of .25-.5 gal per plant a day. Ive been trying to figure out how much psi this setup will be putting out but have been unsuccessful thus far, If someone whos better at math than i could kindly give me the answer it would be greatly appreciated, once i know the psi my follow up question will be, should i use a pressure regulator and if so what 'size'? Thanks in advance for any and all input Ive attached a crude drawing as well just in case my explanation wasn't clear enough
