I’ve had this problem for a while and can’t fix it. The red stem is new on my other plant. What’s causes this problem? And how can I go about fixing it

As for the red stems. Could be genetic . could be from cold and or mag deficiency. But if your getting nute burn I wouldn't think deficiency.

Honestly imo looks ok.

What was the reason for flushing, was over fertilizing obvious?
How close to the recommended are you supplementing?
NPK?
EC?

Looking at the photo's they don't look over nuted to me, they look like they need a bit of a bump in NPK.

That's definitely tip burn. If say started at the tips were you can see some slight burn to the really bad ones. Here's some pictures if nute burn.

There're a few little things that indicate lack of NPK for myself.

1. Possible Nitrogen deficiency. (the general pale all over and a few yellow lower leaves)

2. Possible Phosphorus deficiency. (red / purple stem, brown dry crumply lower leaves with a slight purple tinge near the edges)

3. Possible Potassium deficiency. (Brown V shaped, rusty tips on a few fan leaves)

We need more info on NPK and EC.

If the plant was a really dark green, with singing tips, i'd agree with you.

:peace:

I flushed because I was getting the brown tips like I do now. I flushed it and then I fed nutes again last feed and then the plants got brown tips. The red stem is from my other plant and they leaves are a lot darker. Tbh idk what npk unless that the nitrogen potassium and idk the other lol. And the ec I never Check cause I thought u need to get that from the runoff and I can’t really lift my pots cause of my shoulder. I usually just wet-vac up the runoff

What’s imo btw

The second photo with the purple stem show that very minor "tip burn" but the other photos are obviously much worse. Like Aussie says, need to know how much FF Trio you're feeding. The online feed schedules are way to strong IMO.

How close to the recommended dose are you feeding?

Pick @SheeshM 's brain a bit. I haven't experience with FF nutrient. Likely be able to help you out a lot.

P.S. imo = in my opinion.

Haha no problem man I’ll just @SheeshM in the post to hear from both of u don’t mind.
I’m not using the schedule as I thought it was strong as well.
Grow big - 3 tsp
Tiger bloom - 2 tsp
Big bloom - 4 tsp
Per gallon.
I heard the dosages are better on the back of the bottle than the schedule which is why I use those dosages

I'm gonna side with the other guys for now. If you've been feeding as per rec directions on the bottle, I would no way think I was under ferting either.

Way too much fertilizer, IMO. I would back off quite a bit but you'll need to play around with it to find the best amount for your strain and growth stage. If it were me, I'd try 1 TSP of GB, 3/4 TSP of TB and 1.5 TSP of BB. Make sure you adjust ph after adding all your nutrients (IMO). I think the nutrient makers recommend high dosages to sell more product.

For sure I’ll try this. Since I have that phosphorus lockout do I have to flush first?

That is a good question and you'll get different opinions on RIU. I'm still fairly new to growing but my understanding is that using synthetic (salt) nutrients can cause salts to build up in your medium and block uptake (lockout). I would use feed, water, water, feed. For the feed cycles, use a really low dose of nutrients (say 1/2 what I said above) with plenty of runoff Let them dry well. Do that for a while then ramp back up to normal feed strength.
