Storm damage or mature a week or two early?

On week 8 of flower but most are 9 weekers, recently had a bunch of monsoon weather and high winds beating the crap out of the colas. I still see a lot of clear trics but it's like a third each clear, milky, amber. Is it just the weather turning them amber and I should wait another week? Want mellow smoke but not to be knocked out after a few pokes.20191007_181213.jpg20191007_181317.jpg20191007_181304.jpg191007_173546.jpg191007_172751.jpg

They look pretty ready. You could always just take the large, vulnerable colas now and then let the smaller ones mature more. Kinda depends what your weather forecast looks like at this point.
I'm clear till the weekend weather wise but that will be nothing compared to the past few weeks of days straight of rain and 30 mph gusts lol.

I would do what I started doing today. I started harvesting by branches. Left the colas and got pretty much all the secondary branches on one of my ladies, leaving lower ones to get a few days of sun. Trichs looked pretty much like your pics.

Possible snow is forecast this weekend here(shit!!). I am optimizing my window as a result, and harvesting what I know is ready. Colas can wait for last.

You're doing middles then bottoms, then tops? You saving the colas for some couch lock bud?

Personally, i would chop. Hairs receded, some amber. I like mine alil early
I probably should chop, waited a little longer on my only mostly sativa that finished first(started flower in July) and it's great(euphoric, trippy) but stop moving or TV goes on commercial break and I'm out cold lol. The rest are indica or 50/50 hybrids.

Half and half. I'll hit up a couple of the colas tomorrow. I like to have a little couch lock for the long winter nights when I start to get a little seasonal depression going on and have trouble sleeping.

Same here bro, don't need to be drinking till spring and getting pancreatitis again this spring(would be the 3rd time) lol. The dispensary stuff is cut early and cured short, don't need anxiety and overthinking during hibernation hahaha..

@FresnoFarmer , the green one in the pics is the gelato with the pale leaves we brainstormed on lol(nematodes and such). Never got any darker but it has a ton of big ole donkey D's for colas lmao.

The bottom picture of tricks looks like it is at the beginning of being mature. Large and tall plants that I have grown the top colas always mature first. I have two plants with their inter and lower buds taking an additional two weeks to mature, they look like that trick picture of yours. I'M going to cure out half and use the rest for pressing. That nice thin leaf bud would make some nice light colored stick and pull with great flavor

Hmmmm… trics must be re-growing fast or something. Checked the same few I was planning on harvesting tonight and they are like half clear. Thinking to just let them plump up a little more while they turn cloudy?
