Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction and tell me if my light is too close to my lady or if is okay. Thanks everyone. And so far. Doss it look healthy? Opinions please. It's my first grow . Just added nutrients for the first time today.

You mean make a support for the lady ? What's the best thing to use , your opinion !

idk, a little stick with some trash-ties circled around her top. Moving the light much closer will help in stopping it from stretching so much. But sometimes they get too tall and will fall over, sometimes breaking the stalk and the tissue inside them.

Sorry. I'm a bit confused . Can you explain what that means
Says it all
Just put dirt higher around the stem, that thing is super stretchy. Put those lights way closer too!!
This is where I had my light (granted it’s led) but still

There is a post that addresses these issues in Newby section

In all honesty t5s dont exceed sunlight even at an inch or two from the bulb but too close and i find it a bit oppressive as heat builds round the fixture.

I said 8 inches as a first step but you will find the right distance in time.

Personally id start another seed and rectify where you went wrong with the light distance - learn how to start perfectly and thats one skill you got under the belt :-)

It think everyone pretty much said it, but flourescents can be very close, so move it way closer, and support t with a stick while its strengthing up. If you used quality soil you don't need nutrients for 3 or 4 weeks. You'll burn it. Also keep a fan circulating the air which will help strengthen it.

This is the soil I'm using . Any good ? Do I need to add nutrients with this stuff ?
