I just got back from my local Hydro store and purchased 2 different types of microbes - I'm waiting till the growing medium is nice and dry prior to the next watering and will add microbes as the directions indicate.
Question - Do you see any issues/problems with my light distance and PAR reading?
Again - I thank you for your help.
I cant comment on par it measures the light or something im not going to look it up again and bother to learn it again, for me it has no bearing on my grow, i dont need to know it. My par is what it is and nothing I can or want to do about it.
What microbes did you get , curious, I would go ahead and apply them now and not wait. Lets say you got the Raw brand microbes I would take about a heaping 1/8 tsp to half gallon of water and water it in the pots a little dont need to use the whole half gallon in your pots you just need to get it in there, and if you want to get froggy add about 15ml of molasses in the half gallon to give the microbes something they like right away to get them excited about being there.
led is an intense light from my understanding and maybe you could raise the light up 6 inches to see if they like it better ...or not, you have to play with it and you have to read the plant, the plant will tell you.
and if you get the raw brand get the bloom microbes and use in veg also not very much difference in them and dont need to buy both imo. And once a week or two weeks maybe add about 1/8 heaping tsp or 1/4 tsp of microbes to a gallon. I wouldnt follow the directions on the label as they are geared for you to use them and buy more. Microbe reproduce die off go in hybernation or whatever they do, but the point being is to know that you have an active microbe population in there working for you. A little is all you need.
The molasses this one time is fine but I learned its best to use the molasses in late flower to keep the microbe population active when the plant stops feeding them. So you may not want to use molasses all the time.
and then leave it alone and let them do its thing.
