If you could only use three amendments...?

Ewc and kelp are great.. make sure you have enough N and P

......
Tm-7
Had to google that one.. sounds like fun to try that one.!
I miss "Biozome" it was archaea, they seemed to really convert organic matter into nutrients in a hurry.
Tm7 is awesome its humic and fulvic acids with 7 minerals to stimulate plant growth its amazing got it from black swallow living soils it was recommended to me by one of the guys there my plants really exploded after a light dose you can check out the results in my journal if you like and for a good laugh at a newbie playing with organics lol

The P is kinda low for flower. I guess in organics high Phosphorus isn't needed.
I've been having my soil tested for the last 3yrs and excessively high phosphorus has been a problem. I've been looking for a way to lower the amount of P in my potting soil. Actually, I got into Clackamas Coots because he is one of the few people that addresses the high phosphorus issue. High Phosphorus will lock out micronutrients and hinder myco growth. I don't use any kind of bone or fish meal anymore. I use a fish product(FAA) to chelate micronutrients but I use it as a foliar spray. If you have ever dealt with "iron chlorosis" then you might be dealing with high P.

If you have enough iron in your soil, you should look at Big 6. It's made by the same people but "build a soil" had BioAg(Dr. Faust) create a formula specifically to the Clackamas Coots recipe. They drop the iron and add more Mn which is exactly what I needed.

Thanks I will check it out I'm on well water and around here most people have high iron I would assume I have the same situation hard to say our well pumps from around 200ft deep if I'm not mistaken

I feel like saying "compost" as one amendment is cheating, because you can put all kinds of other things into your compost to bolster it, such as kelp meal, guanos, bone meals, etc.

Here is a soil test from a bag of Malibu Compost. It's typical to be very low in Mn but the part that I'm impressed with is how little phosphorus is in here. Everytime that I have tested home-made compost or compost from a landscaping store, it would come back very high in P(15x too much) and low in micronutrients.

I apologize again, I KNOW this is a thread about keeping it simple. I just feel like plants would prefer all the bases...
Higher cal mag/silica to avoid deficiencies and to get large
Higher sulphur from epsom
Yucca ro avoid air pockets in soil
Bacteria/fungi for health and break down inputs
Humic/fulvic to help make nutrients available
Rock dust for micronutrients
Alfalfa for hormones and fertilizer
Seaweed for hormones and micronutrients
Molasses to feed the bacteria
Dolomite for ph buffer because peat gets acidic
List goes on
I understand your love for all that, especially when you come to these sites people are always singing the praises of something new. Humor me though.use your knowledge of what cannabis needs to get through a grow organically. 3-amendments bro. You’d be surprised of how little you need for a good grow.

I am a new grower and I am using my own EWC, well aged manure, and my own compost. This is kinda hard to answer because there are so many awesome amendments available. I have been using quite a few so far. PS. great thread.
Don’t need them all though.

Right on!
I do the same. Also I compost a diversity of scrap. Will frequently cover crop my compost..To hold the N.
Me. Biochar is a magic ingredient. Condo's for the microbes, holds nutrients well. It's a year around proposition for me.

____
Yes alfalfa and kelp are are great additives. I wii frequently hot compost with them. Worms move away from the heat, then move back in once cooled.
