anyone test their rosin to see how much silicone they are dabbing?

I happen to have diy press i put together years ago that i use occasionally. Having to use the parchment always left me feeling a bit uneasy. I understand the consensus on the forums is that they are safe, but id love to see someone test it for that kind of particular contamination. The other point of concern can be these bags most use to contain the flower during the press.
Honestly, i can see myself going back to the lost art of dry sift.

Meh, got the press and 20 minutes later a down tree knocked out the power in my area. I hate slow ass Consumers Energy, been sitting in the dark for 5 hours and they keep changing the estimated time for power to be restored.

Finally, power just came back on but it's storming away out there lol, let's see if it stays on. Tempted to cover my lawn with solar panels in a middle finger shape hahaha... Read they're jacking up gas rates too.

I really need to focus on converting over to LEDs fully and getting alternative energy within the next year.

7.6% increase, just read it this morning. If I was doing indoor, I'd do it out in the sticks in a pole barn with a diesel generator.

I just pressed an eighth with the parchment it came with. Got .7 grams on a press, then folded the puck and pressed again, only problem is about .2 grams is impossible to get off the paper I pressed with... did I press too hard or something?

Correction... 0.7 total on 2 presses. I'm pretty dam high on just a little bit, now I need one of those pens with the heating element instead of being ghetto and smearing the tip of my cigarette lmao.

Cured stuff came out dark, the dried but barely cured stuff alot light and alot more weight compared to what went in... Din't measure the fresh stuff tho.

If by dab, you mean smear a little on the tip of my cigarette lol, yeah, little of the cured stuff a few hours ago and a little of the fresher stuff just now and am floating along nicely, not even pissed off about the torrential down pour going on outside. Probably will change when I go out to inspect tho
