Airstones can drop your pH, the CO2 creates carbonic acid.
I think I've seen that somewhere before tbh..
But the fact ph has been stable for many weeks.. and drifts up slightly as normal if not altered allowing a swing which lve seen is good for plants.
the sudden drop over short periods of time stump me...
I'm not ruling what your saying out at all.. just ph been fine for so long even though it seems EC needs reducing over the last few weeks

Sudden ph drops point to bacteria problem. Would you also say that maybe your plants look stalled? Still drinking but how’s the growth?

Stalled.. 100%.. been over a week since I've seen a noticeable difference on bud size..
From what I know they should be putting on weight now.. nearing 6 weeks from flip..
But, and there's always a but.... she has spurted sporadically where growth is phenomal.. like. Super impressed in a daily basis on change.
The last 3 weeks..
Fuck all

Ec is 0.3
and it's still going up at that low a level?

if so, give them a 24 hr flush with plain water. then start feeding again (lightly). sometimes they just need a flush to kick start them back into eating again.

any possibility of bugs ?

Yes. It's been dropping the last 3 weeks... was sailing into week 2 of flower with really quick noticable growth overnight. Surprised myself.. but then decided to decline in ppm since then.. growth has slow imo.. even showing signs of nutes burn at such low ec. After a much needed defoliation nothing is really showing... ( I know I shouldn't if the plants not 100% healthy.. )
But if u seen how tight the spacing is between nodes are.. ... I feel it needed it.
That was week 4..

Regarding bugs.. this is a thing I'm not familiar with. Never had a problem with them. Active intake from outside but with measures.
I have tights over both ends of ducting/fan..
I don't see any spotting or signs of bugs at all.. but can inspect with my loupe when's lights are back on

if no bugs when you check,
i'd do the flush. it wont' kill them for 24hrs without food. it usually jump starts my plants back to eating normal.

Tyvm for the replies. It helps. Flush is in progress as we speak..
Leaves etc will be scrutinised tomorrow properly. I've already tried searching by eye for any stresses.. nanas etc. Nothing.
But will leave it for a full day flushing out and inspect..
Sound!

good luck.

keep your eye out for root rot too. the pics looked OK to me but there could always be some funk up in the center that is hard to spot.

If your ph dropping fast I would say root rot got keep the water temps in check. I use uc roots by current culture as a preventative. But also will knock it out pretty quick if at the first signs of it.
Thx fella!! I have some great white.. so the reintroduction of nutes will include a spoonful of that also..[/QUOTE

Quick update.
I changed the res ph was 5.7 I left it for a while not being able to check it till now and ph has dropped to 3.1.. I'm shocked.
Another res change coming up.. unsure whether to add nutes.
No signs of pests and some random deficiency in leaves but only on like... 2...

I checked that thread out you mentioned. Week 5 can be notorious for ph drop due to nitrogen..
Will bare that in mind next venture!
Cheers
