first time grower need a little help pleeeez

alright so my plant has been growing for a while and my cat broke it in half..... it's gonna be fine im pretty sure, because it's still growing...
lol.but i have some questions...

how do i know when it is time to start flowering?

and how long do i flower for? i've only heard of people flowering for a month but im not sure.

and i also heard that during harvest u can cut 3/4s of the bud and it'll grow back twice as big, is that true or b/s?

pleez help me out. im a noob at this and i have many more questions.

you can flower whenever you want but the plant will double maybe in triple in size

maybe 2 months

i think thats bullshit

read the GROWFAQ though and then read it again

1) you can flower whenever you want. the more you veg it the bigger your yield will be. but be careful because plants can double and even triple in size during flowering so make sure you have enough room to support the growth during flowering.

2) most strains take between 8-12 weeks to flower. some more some even less. it depends on the strain. usually people look at the trichomes with a 30x scope that you can buy from radioshack and the trichomes tell you when it's done flowering.

3) I don't think it's 3/4 of the plant. i think you harvest about half of the plant and then put it back in 18 hour light cycle. it won't grow back twice as big but it will regenerate a part of what you harvested and you can get a second harvest out of it.

WhaaaaaT?... did you say harvest half the plant or a portion of it.. and then put it back to bud up some more?... is that even possible?

And yeah, I vegged for 6 Weeks, i'd go longer but i wanna be done soon.. so yeah... but you can veg as long as you want.. if you've got the space... it's definitely worth the wait... as it'll compensate in yield and just better bud all together.

i wouldnt bother trying to regenerate your plant after a harvest. I would get clones and bud those, they take very little time in veg and u still get a decent yield. most people dont regenerate their plants because , in my opinion, its a waste of time
