4 days ago it rain with alot of wind ...plant broke .....4 days into flushing (couldn't finish the 2 week flush) ....so I harvested it. Trimmed and hung. Temp 72. Rh..45-50....with oscalating fan pointed on the opposite wall..the fan is on 1...now after 2 1/2 days buds seem to be dry....what did I do wrong ..hoping to slow dry because of the short flushing time due to the plant brake...help. first grow. Help...

It hard to say. How dense are the buds? I wouldn't worry to much about flushing. Lots of people think that's way over blown anyway. If they feel dry I would bottle them up. It sounds like they weren't very dense due to breaking early, maybe they weren't done, and the quality might not be there yet either.

The method I fine that works well for telling if your buds are dry enough is to bend a branch, if it snaps the bud are dry but if if just bends you should wait a little longer.

No need to overcomplicate things... its dry when it smokes well in a joint, otherwise im not sure what the rest are doing :-)

I like your thinking kingro
Thats a golden rule and lets you know it wont mold when jarred. Since man first found this plant this is the way he did it.

You need reasonably well grown bud to get a good final product from the dry and after one week it may smoke but taste and flavour take two weeks hanging.

Past this you will perfect your way based on this simple experience gained from the basic hang dry :-)
