Topping while flowering??!

Second grow and yet another dumb question, I think I know the answer already but am looking for some advice.
I have to transport a plant to a different location, I'm in week 6 ish of flowering and the issue is my plants top colas are at 50" my truck topper is only 48". Leave the tops and cram them in damaging the top buds or clip the two tallest early and dry them. Which is less traumatic for the plant.

Should be fine with some careful bending, it's only a couple inches, don't let it slide around.

Put your pot into an open padded box so it all can be tipped to rest at angle to lower height in truck.

I think that's the plan, gotta transport 160 miles, think this way is safest, some sketchy roads here in Michigan
