This sounds very interesting.
Do you have some links where it is explained? I did some searching and googling, but could not find anything about the use of Uv-A or Uv-B to fight insects.

Dude... Nice flowers! I'm currently growing in coco, and although the NFT system seems like less maintenance, I'm not entirely convinced it yields -That Much- more? I mean, if I put that big of clones in coco, I'm persuaded to think I would come out the same? Maybe I am wrong, if so please explain :shock:

I agree with you. I have grown the same number of plants in coco, clay balls, rockwool and nft and the yield are all roughly the same, strain dependent. If anything, I think coco has an edge. I really like coco, actually I have a few bags in my garage that I will be using soon :)
 
I been bit busy with life and shit, so final weight for the run with the 390W light was ~450 grams. This was the Gunslinger and then there was 2 small GDPs that filled in the last couple holes. Overall the G/kWh was pretty good but the buds are fluffier than usual and everything just seemed weaker to me. My conclusion is trying to save watts is a stupid idea.

Anyway, this thread more than a year old time to retire it and move on to some new stuff. Got some new flavours in the rooms and gonna have some fun with edibles, DTW coco and breeding and pheno hunting. Getting some really nice genetics down here in Oz now the US has gone full weedmania so happy days.QWISO.jpg

Nah sorry am too busy with life at the moment but the garden is cruising along. Am about to start harvesting both trays over the next couple weeks and only have the drain to waste half set up so gonna be busy. Next run will be another hunt from seed. Got a bunch of S1s and crosses of hype cuts, wedding cake etc so fingers crossed there is some fire in there.

Also made some F2s in this current run so looking forward to popping them. If I get on top of everything I may do a thread in the drain to waste section.
 
Hi klx , looks nice and frosty nuggs. Very similar to critical+2.0 from dinafem that I'm growing, with purple being expressed ini last week or two of flowering. Very leafy as well, but that has to do probably with leaf plucking throughout the flower.

And also the roots did not wrap around the tubes?

did they get stck to each other? So the roots of one plant getting entangled to the roots of the other plants?

If the clones are left in there more than 3 weeks and the roots get really long they do tangle together a little bit because they have nowhere else to go. When transplanting can just gently tease them apart and they are fine, might lose a few fine roots but no worries.

I am probably gonna try an experiment with a cloner where the 5 cm netpots have 5 cm of space between them. (so heart to heart 10 cm / 4")
The cloner will then be slightly bigger for sure, but I was hoping that I could do some of the vegging in there as well.
But I am worried that after 3 or 4 weeks the roots get tangled. With each other and with the tubes/sprayers.
The tubes I will mount higher in the cloner. Just next to the netpot. And the cloner will be 30 cm / 12" high, so the roots can grow vertically first for a longer time.

It should be ok. The trick will be cutting your clones the right length to make sure they are getting splashed to initiate root growth. Then if they get too long and start to tangle you could go in there once a day and run your finger between them. A bit extra work but should ensure they stay unentangled. Good luck!
